Pinoypoets, in partnership with National Book Store, presents "That's My Type: Poetry and Intermedia," a lecture by poet Angelo Suarez. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held on August 22, Saturday, 3:00 PM at the recently-opened National Book Store Glorietta 5. This event is the third of a series of lectures celebrating Pinoypoets' fifth anniversary.

Angelo V. Suárez is the author of three books: The Nymph of MTV, else it was purely girls, and Dissonant Umbrellas: Notes Toward a Gesamtkunstwerk.

He has won prizes from the Carlos Palanca and Maningning Miclat Foundations, and the National Book Award from the Manila Critics Circle and the first Bridges of Struga International Poetry Prize from UNESCO and the Republic of Macedonia for Nymph.
