Mission: ESTABLISH AND SUPPORT THE KYTHE CHILD LIFE PROGRAM IN 20 HOSPITALS ON KYTHE’S 20TH ANNIVERSARY IN 2012

The year 2009 therefore will be a year of institutionalizing the Child Life Programs in its nine existing affiliate hospitals. By the end of 2009, we aim to have a multidisciplinary team composed of doctors, nurses, social workers, child life coordinators and other allied professions, who will work together to provide holistic treatment to our pediatric patients with chronic illness. This means that the team will not only provide medical care but integrate the psychosocial interventions in their treatment goals for the pediatric patients.

Institutionalization and expansion, this is Kythe’s tagline for 2009. With the support of our hard-working board and energetic management team with the cooperation of our partner hospitals, the Kythe Child Life Program will be able to serve thousands of indigent patients nationwide!
